UC Davis is committed to encouraging victims of sexual assault to report the crime to law enforcement. One focus of our grant from the Department of Justice is the development of a comprehensive coordinated response team to ensure that victims are provided support and assistance in the reporting process.
We will continue to encourage reporting of violence against women and hope to significantly increase the number of women who freely and voluntarily elect to file a report with law enforcement.

incidents of aggravated assault involving sixteen victims.
One was on the UC Davis campus and fifteen at the Medical
